Synopsis
After two decades of being out of her country, Betty Jimenez returns to the city that saw her grow. Her strange father has just died leaving his Salsa nightclub as an inheritance. With no experience in running business and much less a nightclub, Betty decides to take the reins of her inheritance. Fabian who has been the bartender since the business opened, is the closest that Betty has as a family and as a trusted friend. Unfortunately, the business was in great debt with an alleged friend of Betty's father, Mr. Alberto Matamoros. Matamoros wants her to pay the debt soon or he simply takes over the club to turn it into another of his dirty businesses. The night Betty invites her childhood friend Kike, who sings salsa today, Matamoros decides to appear as they have told him that the club is improving since Betty arrived. Kike is late but manages to revive everyone with his orchestra. Among other characters, we find the regulars who always go to the club either to dance or to find a partner like Mariana Gutierrez who is an eternal crush looking for her better half and preferably foreigner. Johnny Salazar is a party animal who comes regularly to the night club and falls in love with Mariana who has never paid attention to him till that night that he courageously decides to take her to the dance floor. Betty meets and Englishman named Michael that night, who is looking to rebuild his life and might start investing in the club with a proposal that Betty makes that night.

Alberto Matamoros
Beatriz "Betty" Jimenez: A beautiful woman with a slender figure is the only daughter of Don Gilberto Jimenez. She just inherited the disco from her father who just passed away. She had been living in the United States for more than 20 years and for 3 months she has been in charge of the place. Unfortunately, the nightclub has a great debt because of her father's bad decisions and Betty will have to do everything possible not to lose her and raise her again since she wants to keep her father's cheerful and alive spirit.
Alberto Matamoros: He is the debt collector that Don Gilberto left. This guy is interested rather in seizing the club since he realizes that it is a good place to do his own business that he says are "legal." He is on top of Betty charging him the debt. At one time Matamoros had a close friendship with Don Gilberto, but he never had good intentions. He is always accompanied by one or two of his escorts.
Fabián Méndez
Fabián Méndez: he is the classic and good-natured man always looking flawless despite working as a barman in the disco. He is respected by everyone and everyone goes to him for advice, because he lasted a lifetime working as Don Gilberto's right hand and now he does it for Betty. He is the closest that Betty has as a family.
Kike Luna
Kike Luna: Tall man, charismatic gentleman but clueless and sometimes reckless who has spent his entire life trying as a salsa singer always looking for opportunities to demonstrate his talent. He and Betty met in the hood, and they always maintained that friendship with the hope that one day it would solidify. Now that Betty has returned she decides to give Kike a chance on the club stage that night.
Michael Red
Michael Red: He is a 35-year-old Englishman, tall and good-looking to whom the fiance left him recently and made the decision to leave his job and his country to travel through South America. His plan was to continue traveling through the other countries but since he arrived in Colombia he fell in love and has settled in the city of Cali. He is looking for some promising investment that will open the doors in this new city.
Mariana Gutiérrez
Mariana Gutierrez: She is a 28-year-old woman, tall, thin and loves rumba. She carries on a normal job with a routine from Monday to Friday that bores her and her retaliation is to go dancing on weekends. Mariana is a popular girl in nightclubs and many know her because she dances as a professional. Mariana's dream is really to find the love of her life that is a foreigner and knows how to dance like her. She is a dreamy girl, but at the same time aggressive and perfectionist. Always finding everyone buts.
Johnny Salazár
Johnny Salazár: A 29-year-old boy of short stature but with a lot of atmosphere. He changes his girlfriend more than he seems, but he has long since set eyes on Mariana and believes he can conquer her with his salsa movements. He comes from a humble family and is always looking for work that will take him out of poverty.
